I’m Elili, an engagement photographer in Los Angeles. I started shooting couples in 2022, and the one thing I promise is that you’ll never be left wondering what to do. I will provide guidance on everything from location to what you should wear.
I grew up in a predominantly white community, which meant I struggled a lot with my confidence. In high school, I felt extremely awkward and self-conscious. I refused to let anybody take my picture. I confiscated peoples’ phones when they tried. In fact, my entire family is notoriously awkward in all photographs. I learned how to direct clients with my family as my models. So, if you can trust anybody to help you relax and capture the raw moments, I am your woman.
During the photoshoot, I provide the perfect level of direction. You will never feel clueless nor overly posed. That way we can capture every aspect of your connection and love. I love providing simple, easy prompts that allow you to interact naturally.
Following my “engagement photo formula” you will be left with photos that capture the two of you, enjoying yourselves, laughing, smiling, and connecting.

I AM A BIG FOODIE
I love food. Whenever I travel, exploring new cuisines and the best restaurants around fuels my adventures. My favorite comfort food is Thai food and I love desserts. My favorite bakery right now is Butter & Crumble in San Francisco.
IF I WAS NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER
I would probably be a therapist or start an embroidery business.
MY FAVORITE DRINKS
I love any fun beverage, all kinds of tea and coffee. I will never understand how people drink black coffee.
I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR
My friends and family, who are the most supportive, fun, and caring people I have ever met.
A GUILTY PLEASURE
My guilty pleasure that is not really that guilty is reality TV. Love Island and the Ultimatum with my friends, sharing our mutual confusion.
